Ricardo M. Terra, MD, PhD, MPH

Dr. Terra is an associate professor of Thoracic Surgery at University of Sao Paulo and coordinator of the Surgical Thoracic Oncology Division at Sao Paulo State Cancer Institute in Brazil. Currently, he is also scientific director of the Brazilian Society of Thoracic Surgery. His fields of interest are thoracic oncology, minimally invasive surgery (VATS/robotics) and clinical research.



He completed medical school (1999), residency program in General Surgery and Thoracic Surgery (2004), and PhD in science (2008) at University of Sao Paulo. In 2012, he was awarded a Master degree at Harvard University.
