Antonio Rossi is a medical oncologist at the Division of Medical Oncology of the Scientific Institute for Research and Health Care (IRCCS) "Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza”, San Giovanni Rotondo (FG), Italy. He received his medical degree from the Medical School of “Federico II” University of Naples in 1991 and he became board certified in Medical Oncology in 1997 at the Medical School of “Federico II” University of Naples. His main research interest is lung cancer. He is directly involved in the clinical research and drug development of non-small cell lung cancer and small cell lung cancer. He is the author of many articles published in International journals and book chapters on these issues. Dr Rossi has provided presentations on lung cancer management around Italy and abroad. He is member of Editorial board and act as reviewer for several international journals. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC), and the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO). He has been involved in the development and publication of national lung cancer guidelines.
